Low Maintenance
Husqui oak architrave / skirting boards are tough, durable and resistant to everyday wear and tear such as scuffs and scratches. Husqui® skirting is also easy to install and is 100% waterproof. Husqui® plastic architrave / skirting boards is pre-finished so it doesn't need sanding or treating, saving you time and money from the moment you get it on your wall. And as for maintenance, all it requires is an occasional wipe down with a damp cloth!
Easy to Use
Difficult to distinguish from real wood, Oak architrave / skirting delivers a classic, high end board that will draw all the attention you'd expect but deliver none of the headaches associated with real wood like knots or uneven grain. Most importantly, it's dimensionally stable – there's no warping or bending and so there's virtually no wastage.
Installation is straightforward too. The boards can be cut, drilled, and fixed using standard tools, so builders and DIY enthusiasts can work with them easily. Once installed, they create a neat, professional border between the wall and floor, instantly improving the overall finish of the room. For optimal attachment, we would recommend using a solvent-free, grab adhesive like the Bison MontageKit ARC-A001 , Unibond No More Nails Original – DIY-1011 or Unibond No More Nails Waterproof – DIY-1012.
Sustainable Thinking
One of the biggest benefits is that they’re made from recycled plastic, which means you’re helping reduce waste while upgrading your space. Instead of cutting down trees for timber skirting, these boards reuse plastic materials and transform them into a strong, long-lasting product. It’s a simple change that can make a real difference for more sustainable building and renovation projects. Husqui skirting boards use waste plastic (PS) to create a new product - this supports sustainability, reduces landfill, and helps businesses and consumers move toward a more responsible and resource-efficient way of producing and using goods - true circular thinking!
