What is Mountboard?
Mountboard is the coloured or textured card placed between the artwork and the glass in a picture frame. It serves two important purposes: it creates visual breathing space that enhances the artwork, and it physically protects the piece by preventing direct contact with the glass, reducing the risk of condensation and damage.

Choosing the Right Mountboard Thickness
