The minimum order value for mouldings is £50 before VAT and the minimum quantity of mountboard is 20 sheets. If a box of mouldings is ordered with a few lengths we may not be able to send the lengths safely, a team member will contact you to discuss.

Smaller quantities can be collected from warehouse or we may have a distributor in your area, please contact us for details.

Our minimum order for export is £300.

Our website is optimised for use with Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox, we don't recommend the use of Internet explorer. If something isn't working please clear your history and cache and try again. We can talk you through this process if you call us.

If the site still doesn't work correctly please email us and we will fix it as soon as possible.

No, VAT (currently 20%) will be added to all prices shown including delivery charges. VAT will not be added to export customers but duties may be payable locally.

We accept payment by BACS, or credit/debit card via the website or over the phone.

We no longer accept cash payments or cheques.

We aim to despatch orders placed before 11.30am the same working day subject to account status or pro-forma payment, orders placed after this time may be still be sent on the same day subject to capacity. Mainland UK (ex Highlands) orders should arrive the next working day, usually anytime between 8am and 6pm. Most are delivered next day but please be aware this is not a guaranteed service.

Our delivery partners assume your premises are clearly signed.  Please tell us if you are not available for deliveries during normal business hours.

Orders to Scottish Highlands & Islands will usually take 3-7 days.

Northern Ireland and Republic of Ireland orders receieved before 11.30am on the Wednesday should arrive the following Monday/Tuesday.

We can send you a small 3" sample of a moulding free of charge (postage charge may apply), please email or telephone your request.

Alternatively if you want to make a chevron you can order 0.5m sample lengths with a £1 charge per sample.

Please note 0.5m samples are cut to order so may take a few days, this service may not be available at busy times as we always prioritise customer orders. 

We are able to sharpen Morso blades which have a minimum of 11mm of blade left after the copper line.

The blades must be in a wooden box or bolted to a board then packed in a sturdy cardboard box, maximum size/weight: 50x50x50cm/10kg. Please enclose your name and address with each set of blades. Label the outside of the box 'Mainline Mouldings Ltd NG13 9HY Parcelforce Contract P364517'.

Do not tape blade boxes together or use pastic wrap, these can seperate during transport or get caught up in the sorting machinery. Parcelforce do not cover loss/damage for incorrectly packed items. Please telephone us should have have any blade packing queries.

Sign the delivery company's paperwork or electronic device 'damaged' and contact us immediately. If the goods look completely un-useable then please refuse the delivery and contact us to arrange a replacement.  Take photos of any damaged packaging and / or products. Please send these to our email: sales@mainlinemouldings.com.

Contact us before cutting any damaged products as we will usually only credit full (un-cut) lengths. 

Replacements can only be sent in a large enough bundle so it can travel safely through national carrier networks, we would not be able to send a single length for instance but we would refund or add the item to your next order.

Yes - StockWatch can do it for you automatically!

Place the item in your 'favourites' section and set the stock notifications to 'on'. You will receive an email when the product is running low and also an email when it arrives back in to stock.

The expected delivery dates are shown on the website when you log in. They are updated as soon as we have further information from our suppliers or shipping agents. We cannot accept any claims for losses due to late shipments or incorrect available stock information showing on the website.

To receive an email when a product arrives, place the item in your favourites section and switch stock notifications on.

We only back order box quantities of mouldings, if anything else is out of stock please add it to your next order. You will be emailed an order confirmation if an item has been placed on to back order and we will contact you to confirm it is still required when the item comes back into stock.

Have a look at the 'Stock Notifications' in the Favourites section. Add the moulding onto your 'favourites' list and you will receive an email when unavailable items return to stock and are available to re-order.

Possibly.... We are constantly receiving new stock daily so are unable to guarantee supplying from the same batch. If you are cutting long sides and shorts sides from different batches/boxes we recommend cutting and joining small test pieces to check they match.

All Polcore mouldings are in 2.9mtr lengths.

Wooden moulding lengths can vary between 1.8mtr and 3.2mtr. Most are 3mtr but this can't be guaranteed. If you need a minimum length, please let us know in the order comments or when telephoning your order.

When calculating your order value we estimate the length of wooden mouldings but will only charge for the quantity we actually send. All mouldings are priced by the metre.

All returns must be authorised by us, please telephone 01949 861000 or email sales@mainlinemouldings.com . We will only credit un-cut lengths of moulding and full sheets of boards. Faulty products will be collected and credited.

We charge the carriers uplift cost(minimum £32) and may charge upto 10% re-stock fee for any non-faulty items. items must be received in saleable condition. Collections are not insured for damages and are sent at your own risk.

We can send a sample free of charge so you can see the mouldings before ordering.

Yes, you are welcome to view our range in the showroom but please note we do not offer a trade counter service. For machinery demonstrations please contact us to arrange an appointment.

COLLECTIONS:
Goods can be ordered by email or telephone and collected the following day.

Yes! As one of our goals is to reduce carbon and be more sustainable, we have installed a Tesla charging point and a generic car charging point. These are helping our commuting and business miles to be greener. We would like to help our customers make the change to electric miles by offering these facilities.

Once appoved for an interest free trade account, we offer terms of 30 days with payment due at the end of the month following date of invoice: 12th May invoice would need to be paid by end of June.

We are working hard to ensure our packaging can be recycled. Where possible we reuse packaging and have moved to using paper tape that is 100% recyclable.

However for our larger orders and mountboard boxes, we continue to use polypropylene tape that does need to be removed before recycling. Rest assured, we are continuing to try new products to help us become 100% recyclable. 

Our cartons, boxes, packing material and corner protectors are 100% recyclable.

All moulding wrap is 100% recyclable. The lightweight, white, low density polyethylene (LDPE) Polcore wrap is also recyclable (recycling triange 4) although not through all local curbside recycling services.

Yes, we deliver to Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland on a regular basis.

Please place your order by Wednesday 11.30am. Orders leave Mainline on Thursday mornings. Orders placed after 11.30am on Wednesday will leave the following week.

Your order will be out for delivery on the following Monday or Tuesday.
